SOLVE+COAGULA is the first monographic catalog dedicated to the artist. Seven years of work (2010-2017) are presented here, with an extensive iconography, a series of interviews as well as analytical texts.
Beyond the simple linear presentation of "finished" pieces, this corpus offers the reader a chronological journey tracing the evolution of the work in five chapters, from the ideas to the reception (exhibition and critical texts), through the production process. It is a dynamic and crossed reading that is proposed here, as each work is present in each chapter (a final index makes it easy to find them precisely). An interview between the artist and his gallerist introduces each sequence. The result is a practical and complex book, which allows both an overview and an immersion in the work.
Produced with a grant of the
Cnap-Centre national des arts plastiques, it was finalist for the
FILAF 2017 award "Best artist's book published by a gallery". It has as well been selected for the
FILAF 2018 award "Independant Pages" and for the
ADAGP 2018 award "Best art book".

SOLVE+COAGULA est le premier catalogue monographique consacré à l’artiste. Sept années de travaux (2010-2017) sont présentés à travers une iconographie étoffée, une série d’entretiens ainsi que des textes analytiques.
Au-delà de la simple présentation linéaire des pièces «finies», ce corpus propose un parcours chronologique retraçant l’évolution du travail à travers cinq chapitres, de l’idée jusqu’à la réception (exposition et textes critiques), en passant par la fabrication. C’est une lecture dynamique et croisée qui est proposée ici, car chaque œuvre est présente dans chaque chapitre (un index final permet de les retrouver précisément). Un entretien entre l’artiste et son galeriste introduit chaque séquence. Le résultat est un livre pratique et complexe, touffu, qui permet à la fois un survol et une immersion dans l’œuvre.
Édité grâce à une bourse du Cnap-Centre national des arts plastiques, il a été finaliste du prix FILAF 2017 «Meilleur livre d’artiste édité par une galerie», a été également sélectionné pour le prix FILAF 2018 «Independant Pages» ainsi que pour le prix ADAGP 2018 du meilleur livre d’art.
